Showing non-stop increase in both GSM and CDMA subscriptions, China Unicom – the telecom Giant – added 373,000 more subscribers in its CDMA network during the month of November 2006. This represents largest month on month growth since July in same year, as per the news published on Sina.com - the largest portal of China – on 20 December 2006.
Above 36 million people are covered under the CDMA network of China Unicom. Company’s GSM subscriptions also rose by 930,000 and reached nearly 105 million, thereby bringing the total subscribers of the company to around 141 million in November 2006, as per the website.
