Google, the largest search engine's online advertising program for publishers - Adsense, is provided for domain name parkers with some speacial features. You might have seen many parked domains having Google Ads on them. They are using the Google Adsense for Domains program. Do you think this programs is good? Atleast I don't think so. The Google Adsense for domains is resulting in the misuse of domain names. The large companies like Network Solutions, Sedo, etc are register much more domain names because it is risk free. There is nothing to spend but lot to gain for them.
When Google pays for domain parkers they'll register more and more domain names. Once they register them, they'll ask for thousands of dollars for reselling them. If they can sell them, its okay because they have profit, but in case they cannot sell them, they still have no worries because Google is going to pay them for it. This causes lack of domain names. We see no any domain name with upto four alphabets is available. And the rate of domain registration is increasing. These domains are being specially registered by domain parkers. Probably, more than 40% domains of total domain numbers is under the control of domain parkers. When someone parks the domain, someone who really needs that particular domain name cannot get it, or they'll have to pay the sum beyond their capacity to get it.
I think the domain parkers should be stopped or atleast should be discouraged now. ICAAN should take some action against them and Google being responsible shouldn't support these Parkers anymore.
